Adopted the new Constitution of Montenegro

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro presents its compliments to all Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations Accredited to Montenegro and the honour to inform that the Constituent Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro on its session on October 19, 2007, adopted the new Constitution of Montenegro. According to the Article 1 of the Constitution, the official name of the State is CRNA GORA /MONTENEGRO/.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro avails itself of this opportunity to renew to all Diplomatic Missions and International Organizations Accredited to Montenegro the assurances of its highest consideration.
